I can't believe that another has past by . 2010 has been going on for 3 months and yet i am still surviving here . There's SO MANY things that has changed for the last couple months. many things happened that has changed my life quite big .
1st, freshly graduated last December'o9 (yay!) , tried to stay for a while in states to find a job but ended up with a dramatic - epic fail (wow..) so that i decided to go back to Indonesia for good (wee!) .
it's just has been 5 days from the day i arrived in Jakarta .
how do i feel ? i feel so .. HOT and SWEATING . It's a huge big change of the weather to me . i sweat triple than i used to be , and eat double size than i used to be, too . hahaha.. yea yea i know.. i've gained 3 kgs since 3 weeks ago . lol . but it's okay, i still love my body. :)

anywaaayyyy.... life has been treating me good lately. straightens what had not straight, leads way to the right path when i take the wrong one, and twists the bad things to good ones. Even tho it's not perfect yet, i am still glad and thankful for what i have had now.

the flawless James Jean's original painting

I adore James Jean so much. i think he's one of the most inspiring illustrator currently. No need many words to describe his works, it's all Flawless.

I did this painting with gouache on summer 2009. It's originally by James Jean exclusively for PRADA 'fairy' collection 08.

Instead copying the same color scheme like the original. i choose my own scheme which is red and its complementary color, green. It was pain in the ass to paint on a very small canvas, esp. the details on the foreground. blah ! but i was quite happy with the result. Think i have to go back playing with gouache again.

i hate rainy days!

Today is the 1st day of raining in San Francisco after months.

It was 8 am in the morning when i woke up and i could see that my windows at my 'still-dark' bedroom were wet with drops of rain. i kinda like the feeling of waking up on uberly cold room with you're still rolled up with blanket like a sushi. But not today! It's still Tuesday for God sake!

But the weatherman still loves me. He knows that i don't have class on Tuesday so he pours the water on earth today. Ha ! So Happy! But i do feel sorry for my roomie who has morning class and my boyfriend who has to go to work in the morning, too. ckckck.

Soooo.... anyway. i Spent my tuesday by drawing my homework for character design (will scan and post it latter cos i am too lazy to do that right now) and sketching. aa...again... a with cup of chai latte, sandwich, soothing music, ....

i ♡ being an artist ! :)

Wee ~ ! I ♡ thursday nites ! why ? because....

Thursday nites are the time for me to indulge myself by being lazy, sleeping on my bed with laptop in front of me. blah ! i love being lazy and i do have the right in being lazy after the long long long day ! haha

There's something that i love about this week. I didn't feel it's busy just like weeks before. teehehe!

I don't really have anything due this week, just fixing my egyptian family which i haven't posted yet (i'll do it tomorrow !) and my flash class. But i do have something big due on monday which is my digital painting class (the olympic stamp) that i've not touch it for almost a week. lol. i should go back to that thing soon tomorrow i guess. sigh. but hey, no complain about digital painting and photoshop cos i am a newbie for digital painting yet so excited about it! cross my finger to do my best on that assignment then ! hehehe.

Tomorrow is F.R.I.D.A.Y. which means W.E.E.K.E.N.D. ! HA ! you will think that i am so overreacting about this weekend thingy, but heck yes i always crave for weekends in this semester !
Anywayyyy... i am going to celebrate and start my weekend with spending my afternoon drawing while zipping a cup of C.O.F.F.E.E.♥ (lol, i have to S.T.O.P doing T.H.I.S. cos it's annoying but it feels so good :p , pardon me, ehm!) ----> just like how i spent my last friday ! from now on, i will make this thing permanent !

grande coffee + my little black sketch book + blue or red pencil (cos i am animator!) + endless shuffle fav playlist on my iphone + friday = Awesomeness !!

on one fine Friday, i was too excited about weekend so that i went to the nearest starbucks from where i stay, welcoming my weekend with a cup of latte, playlist on my ipod, black sketch book, and of course, graphites ! what a good start for my weekend ! ♡

quick draft for my Olympic stamp . should re-design it again before the final stamp. So tiring, but i do enjoying the process !

I miss figure drawing classes back in the days! Some people find that figure drawing is boring, but not me. I find that 'nude drawing' is sexy and artistic if you doing it right. I want to try another medium, maybe pastels or acrylics. could be interesting!

not a very good week just past by. i am exhausted by thursday nite, thanks to my super crazy endless projects. everything is not going so well lately, both school and life. i hate this week for sure, but can't complain much about my life, i think God has been really nice to me. it's just another rough shitty days that happen in our lives, rite?
sooooo, yeah, i have to re-do everything again, fix those damn drawings, continuing flash, fixing fluke's walk cycle, and don't forget about the online.

Hola !

Suddenly it's monday again which means starting my busy ordinary busy days. But my monday is not bad tho, i have class from 12 to 2.50 pm and go straight back home to do my online class. My online class is kinda driving me nuts right now, it's an illustration class advanced, so yea, it kinda stressful to me. anywayyyy... still got plenty plenty plenty of projects to do ! tomorrow i have to re-shoot my post test for 'Fluke's walk cycle and re-d0 my character sheets for thursday's class. so, i think i wont touch my flash assignment for friday till thursday right after the class over ? wow. sounds so not cool !

A hectic week just past by, weekend is here !

I love weekends ! To me, 'weekends' means 'time' to indulge yourself from chaotic life that i always get from weekdays.

Besides sleeping, i always pamper my stomach as well :p
So, today, i went to a very famous brunch restaurant in Little Italy called Mama's. Mama's is very famous in San Francisco, if you go to Yelp, this restaurant will appear as one of the top Brunch place to go in San Francisco. There's always a line of people waiting in front of this restaurant, everyday, literally. But the line is worth waiting for! The foods are so delicious!

Throwing up my big HeL-Lo to the world !

I'd never thought that i would make a blog, literally. there are 2 big reasons why i wanna start blogging, one is just because i want to!
duh! :p
yesterday, when i was sitting right in front of Cintiq, this idea popped out on my mind. 'hey, i need a blog to share my stuff!' besides, i can promote myself as a professional artist before i jump in to the business.
Second, almost all my friends keep bugging me about blogs, and apparently almost ALL art student has their own blog.
soooo... yeah, ready or not, i need to start doing this thing !
